To become an industry leader in Anatomic Pathology laboratory services by serving the needs of patients, physicians and communities while striving for excellence in clinical quality.
GALA Histology Lab, the first of two physician-owned laboratories under the GALA umbrella, got its start in 2007 when a team of enterprising Gastroenterologists decided to take control of their histology needs by partnering together to open their very own histology laboratory. Since opening its doors over ten years ago, GALA Histology Lab has become a leader in the GI histology market, providing superior, high quality pathology services to its customers. Reflecting a physician partnership that has grown beyond the Gl market into other areas of medicine, the GALA partners expanded their focus to include GYN cytology, opening doors to its second laboratory, GALA Cytology Lab, in January of 2017.
Modeled after the successful sister GALA Histology Lab, GALA Cytology Lab is a state-of-the-art laboratory featuring the latest technologies and a comprehensive test menu. In keeping with GALA Laboratories’ culture of excellence, GALA Cytology Lab maintains a sharp focus on clinical effectiveness and is committed to providing customers with the highest quality diagnostic testing, exemplary customer service and fast, accurate results.
